Ofsted
Proud to be an Ofsted 'GOOD' school!
In 2020, Parkers CofE Primary re-opened as a new Academy as part of the Diocese of Norwich Education & Academies Trust (DNEAT). We welcomed our first formal inspection visit on 17 & 18 October 2023 and are very proud to have been awarded 'GOOD' status across all areas.
The inspectors noted that 'adults encourage pupils to work hard and aim high', praising our ‘broad, balanced and ambitious curriculum’. 'Teachers' subject knowledge is strong'. Pupils 'relish the chance to have a say' and 'know their opinions are valued'.
I am grateful to everyone across the school community – staff, children, families, governors, volunteers and other supporters – for their ongoing support. It really is valued and makes all the difference.
If you are looking for schooling options for your child, I encourage you to not just read our report but come and see us. Ofsted is a snapshot which will help you to compare schools, but visiting in person gives you a different experience: the chance to ask questions, get a feel for our school community and see how happy and settled the children are here. We have open events throughout the year, or you can arrange with our School Secretary another time that is convenient to you. New pupils are welcomed at any point in the year and we'd love to meet you.
